Cisswood House is set in acres of mature landscaped gardens. It was built for the former chairman of Harrods Sir Woodman Burbidge and his wife Cissily, and features marvellous examples of wood and plasterwork created by craftsmen from the famous London Store.

Perfectly positioned in the pretty village of Lower Beeding, Cisswood House offers guests the opportunity to unwind and relax in the peace and tranquillity of our magnificent garden.

Set in acres of secluded gardens Cisswood House is the perfect venue for wedding receptions and civil marriages. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering for family and friends, or a larger function for up to 200 guests, the hotel has a range of suites and dining facilities perfect for every occasion.

The Courtyard suite is an exclusive suite overlooking beautiful gardens, providing the perfect setting for reception drinks and photographs. The suite can accommodate up to 150 for a wedding breakfast and 200 for an evening reception. The hotel is licensed to hold civil marriage ceremonies and these can be enjoyed within the hotel's selection of individually decorated suites.
